Regulars here are lawyers, designers & salespeople from the nearby Merchandise Mart & Chicago Apparel Center--and you have a chance of getting a caricature of yourself on the wall. This River North restaurant is well known for outstanding steaks, seafood, pasta, an extensive wine list & an excellent lunch menu. Kinzie Chophouse is very popular place for business lunches, pre-theater diners, conventioneers & neighborhood regulars. Providing comfortable surrounding full of black & white photographs of old Chicago. Three spacious rooms, including a bar, are outfitted with attractive & roomy dark wooden banquettes. Susan Frasca of Frasca Hospitality Group who purchased the restaurant in late 1998 has made some exciting changes to the menu, & recently received the Wine Spectator "Award Of Excellence" for the wine list."
