This restaurant towers (literally and figuratively) above most others in Chicago. The spectacular view from the 40th floor is outdone only by the even more spectacular food. The fact is that the food, even through seasonal changes, is never without unparalleled creativity and unquestionable goodness, including the enticing desserts. Impeccable service by tuxedoed waiters adds to the luxe. The two-level dining room is plush and comfortable, and the window tables are prime choices. Considering the quality and all, the dégustation menu and the three-course pre-theater menus are both a real bargain.- March 2005
